三分钟英语演讲：My happiness in NKU
ood evenin, everyone!
It’s a reat honor for e to stand here on this speial oasion to deliver a speeh. Today I’d like to talk about y happiness in Nankai University.
I have a senior hih shool lassate now ajorin in eonoy and finane in Hon Kon University. The other day she asked e the reason why all her friends in Nankai feel extreely proud of this university while those in other shools don’t have suh stron passion. I ouldn’t tell the onrete reasons, but I did think a lot.
To be honest, I felt ore than luky to be aditted by Shool of Finane in Nankai, for I didn’t do well in the national entrane exaination. I lost ore than 40 points in physis, whih ot e the lowest rades and ranks throuhout y senior hih shool life. To y relief, I don’t have to study physis in the followin four years, whih is definitely an extra bonus.
The first day I ot here I was warly weloed by the whole shool. As tie went by, I beae inreasinly busy. But whenever I lost y diretion or felt ailess, there was always soeone enourain e to o further. Soeties it was y parents. Soeties it was senior shoolates. Soeties it was y teahers and instrutor.
For exaple, this Friday I hosted a knowlede ontest toether with four other shoolates. It went soothly althouh I ade soe istakes. After the ontest y instrutor r. han texted e by Wehat to enourae e.
Also, like our Enlish tea, every weekend our oahes would sarifie their tie to teah us the tips of speeh. Your hard work is hihly appreiated.
As the sayin oes, “United, we stand. Divided, we fall.” I think it is unity that akes us distinuished and proud. As the shool otto shows, “Dediation to publi interest, aquisition of all-round apability, and aspiration for proress with eah day.” I’ firly onvined that with our joint effort, y life here is ettin happier with the Enlish Tea, with Nankai University, and with you!
