  小学英语演讲稿 篇1

  通过前一段时间的调研,看到在我们中小学英语教师在各自学段的教学中,还存在着一些问题,而这些问题是可以在我们的能力范围内得到解决的。我想谈三点注意事项。

  1.给小学教师:小学应尽快改变英语教学发展极不均衡的状况,(11年五年级毕业考试成绩,学情相近的顾乡片最高和最低的平均分相差26分,)全体教师都应该提高责任意识,而不仅仅是一部分学校和一部分教师,全体教师都要学习地段小学的做法,克服困难,研究教学方法,特别是要帮助中差生培养英语学习的兴趣,解决英语学习的困难。在小学阶段,帮助中差生比成绩优秀的学生更为重要。争取让所有的小学生带着对英语学生的热爱和自信,以及格以上的成绩升入初中。郊区争取三年内达到这个目标。

  2.给中学教师:中学教师应该更全面地更深入地了解小学的教学情况,包括熟悉小学的全部的教学内容,在此基础上才能有的放矢地高效地教学。

  11年9月,全区初一的摸底成绩平均分是65分,学生应该从65分的基础上学习,而不是从零起点学起。目前只有部分学校、教师做了此项工作,他们认真研究学生现状,提高学生整体成绩,减少两级分化。还有的中学教师参加小学的教研活动,例如,57中这学期选派了业务非常出色的骨干教师到英语教师数量不足的爱国小学进行支援,这位老师虚心的参加小学的教研活动,了解小学的教学要求。

  但还有相当一部分学校的教师还没有认真的研究,或研究的还不够细致。如,我去年11月中旬,听了三所学校6位教师的同一节课,其中两个a组学校,他们的学生入学平均成绩都在70分以上,教师授课内容是七单元"my house"第一课时,"warm up"中学习5个房间的名称词和4个表示方位的介词,这部分内容在小学也是重点,小学的四会生词表中已包含了其中的4个房间名称和三个介词,但所有的6位教师无一例外地对这九个单词全部平均分配了学习时间,没有关注哪些是学生已知的内容,造成了严重的浪费。此外学生小学还学了diningroom,但无一名教师给学生机会说出已知的词汇。学生在小学比较熟知的方位介词"next to, behind, near"也只有三位教师涉及。很显然,这样的教学没有充分地考虑到学生的已有知识基础。

  随着小学教师的数量的补充,统考要求的落实,相信我们区大部分小学的英语的教学质量是会稳步提高的,因此中学老师为做好衔接的必修课是了解小学生的已有知识基础。途径很简单,我们的教研博客中足够的资料可以阅读和下载。也恳请各位中学的教研组长在指导20xx年的初一教学时能够提醒老师们不要再犯这类的错误。

  3.对全体教师:必须明确中小衔接中对语音与词汇的`要求,小学不进行音标教学,没时间也没必要,规则的单词按照发音规则可以直呼的,不规则的单词在小学通过听音模仿学习。小学教师必须从字母教学开始就渗透读音规则,词汇拼读方法的指导上,教师必须指导到位,训练到位,不仅为中学,更为学生的终生的英语学家奠定基础。

  初一的音标教学要在对小学词汇的发音规则的总结基础上进行,音标是认读不规则单词的工具,能用音标拼读即可,不需要在音标教学上花费过多的时间,注意提高教学的效率。对于规则的词还应该延续小学的直呼法,简单、省时、实用、高效。

  如何完成从小学英语到初中英语的过渡

各位领导、老师下午好!

  首先感谢各位领导为我们搭建这个平台,感谢区教研室对六年级英语教师的耐心指导和悉心帮助,使我们有机会对小学英语到初中英语的过渡问题进行交流。

  刚迈入初中校门的学生,英语学习面临着从注重听说训练到培养学生听、说、读、写四项技能的过渡。因此,初中起始阶段的英语教师既要注重知识上的梳理,归类,做好过渡与衔接;又要关注学生能力的培养。这就要求教师了解小、初中英语教学要求的差异,熟悉小、初中教材的内容,然后根据刚升入初中学生的心理和思维特点,制定相应的教学目标,采取切实可行的教学方法,充分发挥教师在教学中的主导作用和学生作为教学主体的能动性,帮助学生实现小初中的自然衔接和平稳过渡。由于各方面原因小学生的英语学习水平参差不齐,这给我们的教学增加了难度。因此,帮助学生迈好中学英语学习的第一步尤为关键。在这里,我把我校日常积累的点滴做法和大家分享。

  一、熟悉中小学英语教材,以便融会贯通,

  新教材为中小学教学内容的衔接提供了有利的条件。新教材不仅更加贴近生活,而且涉及了学生所关心的话题,如,爱好、交友、运动、健康、动物等,拉近了学生与课本的距离。为了做好衔接,我们可相互了解教材并进行认真的研读.找出连接紧密的知识、能力要求,并在此基础上制定出教学计划,以此为切入点,把负担留给自己,将轻松还给学生。

  在每届初一新生入学后,除了对小学学习的教材通读外,我们还对学生的学情进行分析,根据摸底测试的情况,进行集体备课,制定出一套切实可行的方案。这届初一,我们在正式上课前,在复习小学的拼读规则的基础上,进行了音标教学,并对小学《eec》教材中应掌握的常见词汇、词类、句式、名词复数的变化、动词的单三以及句子的结构和成分都做了比较系统的整理,帮助学生建立语法的概念。让小学生的英语学习从感性认识过渡到更多的理性学习,为下一步的教学打下了坚实的基础,也帮大部分学生完成了从小学到初中的初级过渡。

  二、为学生创设真实的语言环境,充分调动学生的积极性

  小学生进入中学后,面临着一个全新的环境。很多学生会对新教师的教学方法、板书、讲课时的声音、言谈举止等不适应。我们可以保留好的小学英语学习的习惯。例如,积极举手发言;学唱英语歌;做英语游戏;诵读英语歌谣的习惯等。充分调动他们的积极性,使课堂气氛生动有趣。虽然我们的教学内容比较紧,但也不能急于求成。

  同时,我们还结合我校开展的"自主-互动"教学模式、学生自主学习能力的培养、课前"精彩五分钟"演讲等具体做法,来培养学生的能力。学生可结合教材内容、实际生活、社会环境等,选择不同话题作为演讲材料。这样既关注了学生的学习兴趣,又加强了对英语国家背景文化的了解。同时促进了学生对相关话题素材的积累,为进一步的写作训练做好了铺垫。

  另外,我们时刻注意创设、营造真实的语言氛围。如:在教室的墙壁上,张贴字母表、音标表;课程表可以用英语的形式表现;定期用英语出板报;每天学生用英语作值日生报告,在墙壁上悬挂一些用英语写的励志条幅,如:"never do things by halves." "where there is a will, there is a way."等。教师还可以给每个学生都起个英文名字。在课堂上,教师尽可能用英语讲授,并鼓励和引导学生大胆说、反复练。环境的熏陶加上课堂上的大胆操练,不仅能提高学生的学习兴趣,而且能提高学生听说的能力,为进一步学好英语,打好基础。此外,根据初一学生的特点,我们就可以用一些游戏来吸引他们的参与,将枯燥的讲解变成生动活泼的情景体验。如:在词汇教学中,为帮助学生熟记所学单词的拼写,不断增加词汇量,并能区别词类,我们常用一些拼词和猜词游戏。如:在学习"families"这一单元时,我要求学生用英语介绍自己的家人,并让学生准备照片、道具,惟妙惟肖用英语表演小品展示给大家。除此之外,我们还举办了一些第二课堂活动来调动学生的积极性。如:诵读比赛,单词竞赛,交际应用,课本剧表演。

  三、在常规教学中,关注课堂实效,全面培养学生的语言能力

  小升初之后,我们遵循新课标,要创造性地设计教学内容,吸引学生参与,使学生通过思考、调查、讨论、交流和合作等方式,学习和使用英语。在小学阶段,学生的学习技能的养成以模仿为主,注重一些感性的认识。学生进入初中后,教师应当设法使学生的语言积累、语言的扩展和使用转化为以听说为主,逐步向视、听、说领先,读写及时跟上转化;从简单英语学习向内容较复杂的英语转化;也就是对学生学习英语的要求发生了变化。例如:对语言的运用要求、对语法的要求、对写作的要求以及对英语语言文化背景、相关素养的要求都发生了变化。具体总结如下:

  1、将听说与读写有机结合。

  小学对听说训练比较注重,所以我们在第一课时训练听力的基础上,将听力材料变成听写的形式或闪词填空,这样既锻炼了学生的听力,又使学生养成了动笔的习惯。课堂上,将每课书中出现的词组适时归纳,并让学生熟练背诵、默写直至掌握,能够应用造句,达到活学活用的目的。另外,教会学生记笔记,教师的讲课思维都总结在笔记本上,有利于学生复习及记忆。

  2.培养学生的语篇阅读能力。

  阅读可以促进词汇量的扩展,是英语学习最有效的一种方法。通过阅读可以培养学生的语感,语感对于提高学生听、说、读、写有着积极的作用,这是学好英语的关键。所以阅读训练在学习英语过程中显得尤为重要,而且阅读能力也是中考当中的重点考察内容。首先对教材的处理上,应以学生为主体,先做背景介绍,进行速读训练,然后进行细读,教师设疑由浅入深,写作指导可以在阅读后进行。同时教会学生朗读并模仿录音,有利于学生英语语感的形成。课后的阅读训练中,阅读技巧的传授是必不可少的,一天一篇阅读、限时阅读、找关键词,归纳语段,等等。让学生掌握正确的阅读方法和技巧,养成良好的阅读习惯,就一定能提高学生的英语理解水平。

  3,逐步培养学生的写作能力

  如果说阅读是一个语言输入的过程,那么写作就是语言输出的过程。近几年来,书面表达在中、高考试卷中所占的分值越来越大,我们意识到了英语书面表达的重要性,在日常教学中加强了对学生的写作指导。小学教学中没有写作文的要求。因此,必须从初一学年打好写作基础。初一学生的写作是一个非常棘手的问题,学生往往出现很多语法错误或汉语式的英语写作。我们在备课时也注重此方面的能力训练,我们要求学生准备一个作文本,首先从单句练起,将句子熟读熟背,进行仿写或替换。我觉得对初一学生来说,给一些提示词或图片进行写句子的训练很有必要。它既是对语法及重点词语的再现,又让学生学会灵活运用所学知识。刚上初一时我每天都给学生布置写句子的训练,并将他们的错误呈现黑板,让学生修改引起注意,逐渐又引导他们在背诵课文的基础上进行仿写,或让学生记下一些美文进行诵读,有必要时将好的词句摘抄并要求背诵,作文有选择性地进行面批,学生之间互批,有针对性地讲解,久而久之,孩子的写作能力自然就提高了。初四毕业再翻看学生的写作本,犹如见证了一个人的成长经历,那种收获是难以言表的。

  4.分级管理、加强辅导与反馈

  想当好一名英语教师必须懂得付出。我们英语的教学比较琐碎,每天都有许多背诵的内容,有时很难让每个学生都能够掌握。我们充分调动学生的积极性,以老师监控,学生管理学生的方式相互促进。如,每组选出一个负责人,每两桌(四人)设一名小组长,协助教师做好每天的小测及考察背课文工作,效果比较明显

  5、教会学生审题,做题。

  学生在小学阶段做题量较少,相对中学的试题也较简单,因此学生审题能力较弱。基于这种原因,我们由浅入深地设计了适合初一学生特点,难易适度的课堂测验小卷,及时反馈当堂课所学的内容。再进行二次备课,归纳出重点、难点,将易错点、考点进一步筛选,时刻掌握学生学习动态,帮助学生做好知识的巩固与梳理,所训练内容与中考接轨。

  四、永远给学生以信心

  "成功教育""赏识教育"能增添学生的自信感和成功感。多给学生表扬,及时鼓励学生的成功,使学生保持学习的热情;尽量让每个学生每堂课都有发言的机会。学习困难的学生最害怕考试,为了帮助他们克服害怕考试的心理,可根据学生的实际程度,制定出不同的层次要求。根据学生的个体差异,对学生的学习评价实行"同分不等值",多角度、多方位、多层面、多形式进行分层评价。比如在考试中我们设立了标兵奖、进步奖、最佳书写奖、组内最佳合作奖等,以鼓励不同层次的孩子。结合第二课堂活动及初一孩子的特点,我们举办了单词竞赛,英语课文诵读比赛,小作文写作竞赛等活动。鼓励各个层次的学生参与,使他们各有不同收获,体验成功的快乐。

  总而言之,让学生从小学平稳过渡到初中,并非一劳永逸,要使他们在初中乃至今后的更高水平的英语学习道路上迈出坚实的步伐,还需要我们教师不断探索,不断研究,不断努力。我也希望我们能有更多的机会互相切磋交流,共同为我们的学生撑起一片英语的蓝天。
